Anythink we fear
we make into an idol.
Whether it be our mirror
or someone else's bridle.
If we're letting them push our buttons
we'can bet this is the case
we've got some fear inside us
it's just given us a taste.
If we fear we'll lose our job
or our home or our money
or we fear we're getting old
and we might just lose our honey
then we'd better listen up
wisdom has some advice for you
stop letting things and people
control your every move.
Don't make them into gods
and let them pull your strings
for your giving them false power
your jumping through their rings.
Only bow down to God
he is the only one
who has the only power
and then you will be done
with worshipping false gods
and acting like a fool
It's better you should learn this
then be treated like a stool.
